CREATIVE ASSISTANT

PERFORMER

Yildiz Güventurk was born in Izmir, Turkey and has been working as a multidisciplinary professional dancer since 2011.

She received her BA in Dance from Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey and studied at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany. She is currently an MFA candidate of dance at the Ohio State University, as a non-immigrant Fulbrighter.

She joined On Board(hers) as a performer in 2018 and worked as a Creative Assistant from 2019 to 2020, when she went to the US/Mexico border to facilitate movement workshops with migrant women.
